About The Webmaster - My name is Damon C. Poole, II. I am a Radio Producer, for Signal Media of Arkansas, owners of The Point 94.1 - (KKPT-FM), 103.7 The Buzz! - (KABZ-FM), & The New Heartbeat 106.7! - (KHLR-FM), in Little Rock. As far as my education goes, I am a 1988 Graduate of Guy - Perkins School. From August 1994 to December 1997, I attended Garland County Community College in Hot Springs, where I studied Computer Information Science & Technology while pursuing an Associate of Arts Transfer Degree, before returning to the University of Central Arkansas, in January, 1998. While at GCCC, I was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa's Alpha Beta Psi Chapter. In May, 2000, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, in Mass Communication, with a Telecommunications Emphasis, and, a Minor in Geography. While at UCA, I gained broadcast experience working at KUCA-FM 91.3, as an on-air meteorologist, KCON-AM 1230, as a radio news and weather anchor, and, UCA Channel 6 TV, as a Production Assistant. I also had the pleasure of working as a weather intern, at KARK-TV Channel 4 in Little Rock. Additionally, I am a Certified Advanced SKYWARN! Spotter. I report to the National Weather Service in North Little Rock via phone, and, their On Line Storm Reporting Form. I also am a member of both the Arkansas Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association, and, the National Weather Association (NWA1-1368-00149P).
